Agreement to terms
By accessing stratofreight-trade.com or commissioning work from Strato Freight Trade LLC ("Strato", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Quotes & orders
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the specifications agreed in writing. An order is confirmed once you approve the final design and quote and pay the required deposit. Because every piece is made to order, changes after production begins may affect price and timeline.
Pricing & payment
Prices are quoted in US dollars. Unless agreed otherwise, a deposit is due to begin work and the balance is due prior to delivery. Custom, made-to-order pieces are non-refundable once production has started, except as required by law or covered by our guarantee.
Lead times & delivery
Estimated lead times are given in good faith and typically range from 4 to 8 weeks for single pieces. Delivery dates are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
Guarantee
We stand behind our joinery with a 50-year structural guarantee to the original owner, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use. The guarantee does not cover normal wear, changes in the natural character of wood and leather, or damage from misuse, accident or improper care. Full guarantee terms are provided with your order.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including designs, images, text and the Strato name and logo — is owned by Strato Freight Trade LLC and may not be reproduced without written permission. Designs we create for a commission remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order or use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant piece. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Massachusetts.
